BDB Rooms Rome

One city, three perspectives
Different neighborhoods, the same walkable Rome

Every BDB Rooms property is located in a neighborhood with its own distinct history and character: the vibrant neighborhood life of Trastevere, the art scene of Via Margutta, and the baroque backdrop surrounding Piazza Navona. Three spots on the map just minutes apart, all right within the historic center, chosen because from there you can experience Rome entirely on foot — with no transit needed, no downtime, and the city beginning right outside your door.

Three strategic locations
Close to each other, each with its own way of experiencing the city

The three properties form a compact triangle in the historic center. To the north, Via Margutta runs parallel to Via del Babuino in the trident of streets fanning down from Piazza del Popolo toward the city center amidst boutiques and art galleries. Just below, beyond Corso del Rinascimento, lies the Ponte district with Piazza Navona and the network of cobblestone alleys leading to the Pantheon and Campo de' Fiori. Across the Tiber, past Ponte Sisto, begins Trastevere with its squares and traditional cobblestones. Moving between locations is a short walk: just fifteen minutes separate Piazza Navona from Via Margutta, and crossing the river takes barely a few minutes more.

Yet, each offers a unique way to experience the city. Trastevere is the neighborhood that never sleeps: family-run trattorias, artisan workshops, and lively evenings winding through cozy piazzas. Via Margutta retains the quiet tempo of artist studios, ivy-draped courtyards, and antique dealers just steps from Rome's most elegant avenues. Via dei Gigli d'Oro, closed to traffic, offers peaceful silence right behind the city's most breathtaking square. Three neighborhoods within walking distance, three distinct stays.

BDB Rooms Trastevere
Via Benedetta 12 — the heart of authentic Roman life

Cobblestones, artisan shops, and tables set in the alleys: Trastevere is the neighborhood that has preserved the authentic local rhythm of the city more than any other. The property is located just steps from Piazza Trilussa and Santa Maria in Trastevere, right in the heart of a district that fills with the aroma of freshly baked bread by day and comes alive with vibrant conversation by night.

BDB Rooms Margutta
Via Margutta 39 — the artists' street

A 17th-century palazzo with a private entrance on the street that was home to painters and filmmakers, nestled among art galleries, antique shops, and ivy-draped facades. Just a few hundred meters away, you will find the Spanish Steps, Piazza di Spagna, and the boutiques of the Tridente.

BDB Rooms Navona
Via dei Gigli d'Oro 6 — the quiet behind the square

A contemporary building on a street closed to traffic, just behind Piazza Navona: the Fountain of the Four Rivers, the Pantheon, and Campo de' Fiori are all reachable in a few minutes on foot, and upon returning, the pedestrian street restores peace and quiet.
